Paper Submission Guidelines for ICML 2010

ICML 2010 is inviting original, previously unpublished research papers from all fields of machine learning. We are looking for innovative work on predictive models, cognition, interaction with environment, data analysis, self-adaptive systems, or anything else in machine learning. If you are doing research in collaboration with any other field of study, you are invited to share your work with the community.

Remember that the list is indicative, if you feel your research has the potential to introduce something new, hitherto unknown facet of machine learning, write up an engaging paper and send to us.

Scrutiny Process

The submitted paper will be reviewed by two experts in the area of research in the first round.  The reviewer will not know the author’s identity at this point of time. As its author, you will be allowed to see the review and also respond to it before the final decision is made. A very democratic process, you could say. The paper will also be reviewed by area chair and final decision will take into account reviewers’, author’s, and area chair’s feedback.

Paper Presentation

If your paper is accepted, you will present it during the technical sessions, tutorials, or workshop, depending on its topic. You will also need to prepare a poster of your research, to be displayed during evening poster sessions.
